Seaview House Hotel
The hotel is a fine boutique hotel with real seaview. The building is nice, the park surrounding it is wonderful. You can admire 2 m long hydrangeas during breakfast! We had a room on the second floor with sea view, we liked that a lot. The room was nice, the bed a little small for two people. The whole place is very quiet, very elegant. There is a restaurant also, we have tried it once, it is more expensive than the average in the vicinity. We did not try the spa services because we had other obligations. You need a car, because the towns nearby are not walking distance. Suggested for those who want to really stay away for a couple of days and enjoy old furniture etc.

Great staff, between the two young lads behind the bar, Lydia at reception and the two ladies at breakfast, they should be proud of themselves for the service they provided. The food at breakfast was the best I've eaten in a hotel and I've eaten in at least a hundred hotels. The family room was ma-hu-sive and the room to the front had a fantastic view, made all the better with the sun shining through. Guinness was good and didn't sample the spa area but I'd definitely recommend this hotel.

Really nice hotel - lovely room with a view of the sea - comfortable bed with a nice bathroom. The hotel has a relaxed "country house" feel with a great bar and friendly staff. We had a cocktail and then a lovely dinner, with great food, wine and service. Breakfast next morning was excellent - my only very small issue was the coffee could have been better. We stayed one night, as part of a few days driving the Wild Atlantic Way - highly recommended.

The staff from Camilla at reception to Christina in the spa were wonderful, so lovely and helpful. The hotel itself was beautiful like something from a Jane Austen novel but with a modern take. The WiFi and TV choices were exceptional and breakfast in the morning was peaceful and delicious. My favourite thing about my stay was the massage I reviewed at the spa and wellness centre. Best one I have had in years. I will definitely be going back

The hotel was rather dated (which isn't really obvious from the photographs) although the garden and the restaurant/breakfast room were lovely. We ate dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious - as was breakfast (I can remember really enjoying the stewed rhubarb!). The hotel is set back from the main road so is quiet but I was hoping to be able to walk around the bay from the hotel - which wasn't possible.
